Bitwise CIO Sees Bitcoin Bottoming Out Amid Market Reset
Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan recently spoke with Altcoin Daily about the current state of the crypto market and his predictions for Bitcoin's future. According to Hougan, the market is experiencing a massive reset, which he believes will ultimately benefit investors in the long run.
Hougan pointed out that despite recent price fluctuations, the overall trend for Bitcoin is still positive. He cited the 4-hour chart, where BTC is currently trading at $62,801.56 within the Bollinger Bands, with an upper resistance of $65,231.0 and a lower support of $62,084.4.
One notable aspect of the current market is the death cross, confirmed by the MACD at -415.26, which suggests a healthy retracement towards the 50-EMA before any continuation higher. This means that investors should be prepared for a potential price drop before the market starts to rise again.
Hougan also discussed the Clarity Act and its implications for institutional positioning in the crypto market. He emphasized that despite retail attention remaining low, institutions are increasingly taking notice of the space.
