Bitwise Closes Dogecoin ETF as Remittix Prepares PayFi Debut
Bitwise's decision to liquidate its Dogecoin ETF has raised questions about the future of DOGE investments. The closure does not mean all listed DOGE access disappeared, but it highlights the variability of product demand, even for a token with a strong community.
Remittix, a company working on a PayFi solution, is moving forward with its testing phase. The first 1,000 users are trying out a route to convert supported cryptocurrencies into fiat received in compatible bank accounts. The November 24 debut of RTX gives the testing phase a clear destination.
DOGE's attempt to hold the $0.10 region remains a near-term price test. The token's large community and history of sharp moves when meme-coin sentiment strengthens make it an asset worth watching. Remittix, on the other hand, is targeting a much larger pool of people who need to move money across borders.
The Remittix ecosystem includes an iOS wallet and a live perpetuals venue, Remittix Markets, with millions in volume. Remittix Earn is planned with advertised yields up to 22% APY on eligible holdings. A rebuilt wallet is intended to unite the services, allowing a payment customer to store, trade, and potentially earn in the same app.
