Bitwise Launches Automated Token Portfolios for Coinbase's Tokenized Stocks
Bitwise, a cryptocurrency investment firm, has announced plans to launch Automated Token Portfolios (ATPs), institutionally designed model portfolios that utilize tokenized stocks from Coinbase. These model portfolios will be available for users' wallets and will automatically rebalance their holdings according to the designated allocation.
The first three ATPs, which will be launched in the coming weeks, are Bitwise Mag7X ATP, which tracks seven major US growth companies, including Apple and Amazon; Bitwise Robotics ATP, focused on robotics and autonomous systems; and Bitwise AI Leaders ATP, tracking leading AI companies. Each portfolio will have an equal allocation to its constituent stocks.
The tokenized stocks used in the portfolios are issued by Coinbase and can be stored directly in users' wallets. The rebalancing process is handled by Glider, a third-party platform that requires user approval. Bitwise itself does not hold or manage users' assets and has no access to their private keys.
