Bitwise Unveils First US Spot NEAR ETF with 0.75% Management Fee and Staking Fees Eating 33% of Rewards

Bitwise has successfully launched its first US spot NEAR Protocol (NEAR) exchange-traded fund on NYSE Arca. The new fund trades under the ticker NRR and holds NEAR directly, with Coinbase Custody as custodian.

The registration of the fund took effect on September 24, after Bitwise filed for it in May 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the company's efforts to bring spot ETFs into the US market.

Notably, staking fees will take a substantial 33% cut from rewards earned by investors in the fund. The annual management fee is set at 0.75%, which may raise eyebrows among some investors who value more competitive pricing in their investment options.
