Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) inflows slowed significantly on Friday, September 4, as only two funds from BlackRock and Fidelity attracted fresh money. The net inflow of $174.6 million was a 76.1% decline from the previous day's total of $730.8 million.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) recorded net inflows of $117.4 million, while Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) saw net inflows of $57.2 million. These two funds were the only ones with positive flows among the 12 tracked.

The slowdown in inflows follows a surge in the preceding session, where seven funds had reported positive flows. However, by Friday, five of these funds had moved to zero net flows, while the other two remained at zero as well.
