BlackRock and Ondo Launch Tokenized ETF Portfolios for Non-US Investors
BlackRock and Ondo Finance have launched tokenized ETF portfolios for non-U.S. investors, marking a significant step towards on-chain model portfolios in global crypto markets.
The product, called Ondo Intelligent Portfolios, brings BlackRock's customized ETF portfolio strategies to the blockchain for the first time.
Each strategy is represented by one transferable token on the blockchain, which can be accessed through major crypto wallets and DeFi applications.
The portfolios are based on three levels of automation: a partner like BlackRock provides the portfolio allocation approach, Ondo adopts that model with tokenized stocks and ETFs backed by real securities in real markets, and smart contracts handle rebalancing logic, allocation logic, and fee logic.
