BlackRock Bolsters Crypto with Strategic Investment in Uniswap

Instruments
UNI
Share

BlackRock's strategic investment in Uniswap has sent UNI prices soaring 14% to $3.85, prompting analysts to weigh in on the significance of this partnership.

The world's largest asset manager, BlackRock, announced it would make shares of its tokenized U.S. Treasury fund, BUIDL, tradable on UniswapX technology.

BUIDL is a blockchain-based fund launched in 2024 and fully backed by U.S. Treasury bills and cash.

According to BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, who has been an advocate of blockchain-based finance as a way to cut costs and improve efficiency, this integration will enable onchain trading of BUIDL, unlocking new liquidity options for BUIDL holders.
