BlackRock Brings ETF Strategies to Global Crypto Investors
BlackRock has made a significant move into the crypto space by partnering with Ondo Finance to offer its ETF portfolio strategies to eligible investors globally through transferable onchain tokens.
The product, called Ondo Intelligent Portfolios, allows investors to access BlackRock's ETF portfolio strategies through crypto wallets and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. Each strategy is represented by a separate token, with three initial lineup options: High Income (BLKHIon), Diversified Growth (BLKDIGon), and High Growth (BLKGRWon).
Investors can invest in the ETF portfolio for their chosen strategy through a single transferable token. However, having a crypto wallet alone does not provide access to these strategies, as investors must meet certain eligibility requirements.
