BlackRock Brings Traditional Portfolio Strategies to the Blockchain via Ondo Finance

Ondo Finance has launched three new on-chain portfolio products in collaboration with BlackRock. The Intelligent Portfolios suite now includes Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock, Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock, and Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock.

Each product is packaged into a single token that allows investors to gain exposure to a basket of assets without individually buying and managing each position. The portfolios are built around strategies developed by BlackRock specifically for Ondo and have set asset allocations and target weights when launched, which will then be rebalanced on a fixed schedule.

The underlying positions use Ondo Stocks, the company's platform for tokenized equities and exchange-traded funds backed by real securities. The portfolio allocation, rebalancing, and fee rules are encoded into smart contracts, ensuring investors don't need to manually adjust their holdings when the portfolio changes.
