BlackRock Dominates Bitcoin ETF Market with $55M Inflow
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) continues to dominate the US spot bitcoin ETF market, pulling in $55 million in inflows on Monday. This marked a significant portion of the total $31.1 million net inflows for all US spot bitcoin ETFs on that day.
This is not an isolated incident - IBIT has been consistently attracting more capital than its competitors. During the week ending September 25, 2026, it captured roughly half of the $2.4 billion in net inflows for US spot bitcoin ETFs, with a whopping $1.2 billion influx. Fidelity's FBTC was the closest competitor, pulling in about $702 million during the same period.
IBIT's asset base has grown to nearly $67 billion, while the entire US spot bitcoin ETF category saw lifetime cumulative inflows of around $57.6 billion by late September, with net assets approaching $108 billion. The recent trend shows a significant reversal from mid-July, when year-to-date flows had cratered to roughly negative $5.8 billion.
