BlackRock Floods Ethereum Market with Record Inflows
The Ethereum market has faced claims of institutional retreat, but recent data suggests otherwise. According to reports, BlackRock's ETHA pulled in $148.82 million in net inflows on September 11, accounting for 69% of the $216 million total net inflows across US spot Ethereum ETFs.
This influx of capital contradicts claims of a massive institutional retreat from Ethereum. In fact, institutional flows show strength, with BlackRock's ETHA driving the majority of capital entering these products.
The concentration in one fund suggests a preference for liquidity, and the market saw $1.75 billion in cumulative inflows into the spot Ethereum ETF sector during August 2026. This movement contradicts the idea that institutions stopped buying.
