BlackRock-Fueled Bitcoin Inflows Smash 2025 Crash Record
The Bitcoin price has been experiencing choppy consolidation over the past eight days through September 29, but BlackRock and Fidelity's influence on U.S. spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) has led to a significant increase in weekly cash inflows.
According to data from SoSoValue, the net cash inflow for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $2.39 billion on September 25, which is their highest level since the October 10 crypto crash. This marks a notable turnaround from the week of the 10/10 crash, where these ETFs collectively posted a net cash inflow of $2.71 billion.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) saw a net cash inflow of $1.16 billion last week and an additional $54.84 million on Monday, increasing its total net assets to around $66.85 billion. Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), however, recorded a net outflow of $10.90 million on Monday after posting a net cash inflow of $701.68 million the previous week, leaving it with approximately $15.43 billion in total assets.
