BlackRock Leads Ethereum ETF Surge with Record $149M Inflow
BlackRock's Ethereum ETF has seen yet another massive influx of capital, with $149 million pouring in on September 11. This represents nearly 69% of the total $216 million that flowed into US spot Ethereum ETFs during the same session.
The iShares Ethereum Trust, trading under the ticker ETHA, now boasts a cumulative net inflow of $13.013 billion. This positions BlackRock as the dominant force in the Ethereum ETF space, with total sector net assets reaching approximately $16.305 billion.
This level of concentration is not new for BlackRock; its spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, similarly dwarfed competitors after launching in early 2024.
The influx of capital continues a broader trend of institutional money pouring into Ethereum through regulated vehicles. In August 2026, the spot Ethereum ETF sector saw $1.75 billion in cumulative inflows, with ETHA contributing over $1 billion during a notable nine-day streak.
