BlackRock-Led US Spot Ethereum ETFs Suffer $400M Outflows in Three Days

US spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have seen significant outflows over the past three days, totaling $400 million. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led the exodus, shedding $42.9 million on its own. This trend is a concern for market observers, as it suggests institutional investors may be adjusting their digital asset positions beyond mere short-term profit-taking.

Fidelity's Ethereum Fund (FETH) and VanEck's Ethereum ETF (ETHV) recorded net inflows of $1.8 million each on the 17th, indicating some buying interest in select products. However, this is not enough to offset the outflows at BlackRock ETHA.

The divergence between spot Ethereum ETFs and spot Bitcoin ETFs is striking, with the latter experiencing net inflows of $159.5 million on the same day. This temperature gap between the two major digital asset ETF markets has become increasingly pronounced.
