BlackRock Sticks to Bitcoin Bullish Thesis Amid $63K Price
BlackRock, a leading asset manager, is maintaining its bullish stance on Bitcoin despite the cryptocurrency's recent price decline. In a report, the firm's analysts downplayed the significance of the 50% drop in price from its all-time high of $126,198 reached in October 2025.
The price of BTC has since declined to around $63,000, but BlackRock believes this is a cyclical phenomenon rather than evidence of a structural reversal in Bitcoin adoption. The firm views the sell-off as 'a function of idiosyncratic deleveraging and flow dynamics,' with heavy leverage use amplifying the decline.
According to BlackRock, institutional inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs have been weaker, contributing to the slump. Despite this, the analysts found that a 1% to 2% allocation to Bitcoin can improve the risk-adjusted returns of a traditional 60/40 portfolio.
