BlackRock Strategies Tokenized by Ondo in Onchain Portfolio Launch

Ondo Finance has launched three onchain portfolio tokens based on model portfolio strategies developed by BlackRock. The tokens, Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock (BLKHIon), Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKDIGon), and Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKGRWon), are available to eligible investors outside the U.S. in permitted jurisdictions.

The tokens allow investors to mint or redeem a single token rather than handling individual positions in the basket, with holdings, weights, and rebalances visible onchain. They are transferable peer-to-peer across wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols.

According to Ian De Bode, Ondo Finance's Acting CEO and President, 'Portfolios like these have never been available onchain. Now, they are made accessible onchain, transferable at any time, and usable across DeFi.'

Ondo has partnered with BlackRock to bring established portfolio construction approaches into new channels and technologies.
