BlackRock Sweeps $305M in August 5 Crypto ETF Inflows

On August 5, BlackRock's IBIT and ETHA dominated the flow of assets into U.S. spot crypto ETFs, capturing $305 million in inflows.

This represents over 80% of the total inflows on that day, with IBIT attracting $197 million and ETHA pulling in $50.34 million.

BlackRock's dominance is not surprising given its familiarity among institutional allocators and deep integration with existing portfolio management channels.

The concentration of assets in BlackRock's products raises questions about market structure, but it also signals that institutional capital has firmly chosen its preferred on-ramp.
