BlackRock Tokenizes Investment Portfolios on Blockchain

BlackRock has taken a significant step into the world of blockchain by tokenizing three of its investment portfolios. The move is part of the company's efforts to bring traditional assets onto the alternative financial system that powers cryptocurrencies.

The three portfolios, Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock (BLKHIon), Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKDIGon) and Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKGRWon), are now available to eligible holders outside the US in permitted jurisdictions.

These tokenized portfolios allow investors to gain exposure to advanced investment strategies while holding a single crypto token, eliminating the need for multiple holdings and manual rebalancing. The current model allocation is 32% aggregate bonds, 30% high yield, 24% credit, and 14% miscellaneous fixed-income exposure.
