BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF Flashes Golden Cross Amid SEC Approval of Triple-Leveraged Funds
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) has flashed a golden cross, a bullish sign for traders, as the 50-day average moving average surpassed its 200-day counterpart. This comes as the SEC approved a rule change to list triple-leveraged Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) products on the Cboe BZX Exchange.
The approval allows six 3x leveraged products from Volatility Shares' VS Trust to be listed on the exchange, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as gold, silver, crude oil, and natural gas. These funds seek to achieve three times the daily return of their respective benchmarks.
The SEC's approval of these leveraged crypto funds marks a significant development in the cryptocurrency market, providing investors with new options to trade Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, trading in these funds will only begin once their registration becomes effective.
