BlackRock's Ethereum holdings have seen significant growth in recent days, with the firm buying over $1.5 billion worth of ETH through its spot ETFs.

The data from Arkham Intelligence shows that BlackRock's ETHA fund has purchased around $1.27 billion worth of Ethereum during the past 20 days, while its newer ETHB fund recorded inflows of about $296.5 million.

This brings the total purchases from both funds to around $1.57 billion, indicating sustained demand for Ethereum exposure through BlackRock's ETF products.

The large amount of Ethereum acquired by BlackRock came after its ETHB fund maintained a consistent inflow trend during the stated period, with no single day of outflows despite price volatility.

As a result, BlackRock now holds about 3.56 million $ETH, worth around $8.69 billion as of September 17.
