BlackRock's IBIT Dominates US Spot Bitcoin ETF Market with Record Inflows
BlackRock's dominance in the US spot Bitcoin ETF market has continued to grow, with its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) drawing hundreds of millions of dollars in inflows over the past week. According to recent flow data, IBIT led all US spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs in inflows, pulling in $381.4 million on September 21 and $350.3 million on September 22.
This influx of funds extends a streak that has seen institutional investors pouring money into these products. In the four-day period from September 19 to September 22, US spot Bitcoin ETFs accumulated around $2.1 billion to $2.3 billion in net new money, with IBIT accounting for approximately $67.9 billion of this total figure.
Bitcoin's price held relatively steady during this time, trading in the $84,000 to $87,000 range. The inflows into Ether ETFs were also significant, with estimates ranging between $162 million and $270 million over recent trading days.
