BLAST Open Porto 2026 Kicks Off with $1.1M Prize Pool
The BLAST Open Porto 2026 tournament has kicked off in Copenhagen and Porto, featuring 16 top Counter-Strike 2 teams competing for a $1.1 million prize pool.
The event will run from August 26 to September 6, with the group stage taking place at BLAST Studios in Copenhagen before moving to the Super Bock Arena in Porto for playoffs.
The format consists of two phases: groups play out in a double-elimination bracket, and once the field narrows, the action moves to single-elimination playoffs in Porto. The grand final will be a best-of-5 match.
The competition includes teams like Spirit, Falcons, and Vitality, all of which have momentum from the Esports World Cup 2026. The tournament is also significant for Portugal, as it marks the first time BLAST Premier has staged an event in Porto.
