Blockchain.com and NYSE Partner on Tokenized Stocks
Blockchain.com and NYSE Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore tokenized stocks. This partnership will give Blockchain.com users access to U.S. exchange-listed equities and ETFs through the NYSE's planned digital alternative trading system.
The companies announced that they would distribute tokenized shares of companies listed on the world's largest stock exchange, settling those trades onchain. The memorandum highlights a route for tens of millions of Blockchain.com customers to trade in tokenized stocks.
Under the agreement, NYSE would provide access to its digital ATS, while Blockchain.com would distribute tokenized U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs through this platform. This move aims to broaden access to crypto-native investors through Blockchain.com's global customer base.
