Blockchain.com and NYSE Team Up for Tokenized Securities Trading
Blockchain.com and NYSE Group have formed a partnership to enable users of Blockchain.com's platform to access tokenized U.S. exchange-listed equities and ETFs on the NYSE's digital ATS, subject to regulatory approvals.
The MOU includes bidirectional market data distribution across the companies' respective platforms, with ICE Data Services distributing Blockchain.com's crypto market data and analytics to its subscribing clients, and Blockchain.com incorporating certain ICE and NYSE exchange data feeds into its app.
Tokenized stocks offer benefits such as fractional ownership, around-the-clock trading, investment access for global investors, and faster onchain settlement. The collaboration seeks to broaden the NYSE's access to crypto-native investors through Blockchain.com's global customer base.
