Blockchain.com is reportedly planning to list on the US public markets via an initial public offering (IPO), aiming to raise approximately $500 million. According to Bloomberg, the company is discussing a valuation of around $4 billion to $6 billion.

The proposed IPO would be another test of investor appetite for large crypto-native businesses in the public market. Blockchain.com operates wallets, brokerage services, and institutional infrastructure, having been active since the early days of Bitcoin.

The company's private funding round in 2023 valued it at around $7 billion, but the proposed public-market range would not necessarily restore its previous valuation. The reported figures are targets being discussed with prospective investors and advisers, and Blockchain.com has declined to comment on the plans.
