Blockchain.com Targets $500M IPO Amid Crypto Market Recovery
Blockchain.com has filed confidentially to go public in the US market, aiming to raise $500 million through an initial public offering (IPO). The company's valuation is expected to reach between $4 billion and $6 billion. However, Blockchain.com stated that it may choose to raise less depending on market conditions.
The development comes as Blockchain.com has partnered with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to give users access to tokenized versions of US stocks and ETFs. This agreement allows users to access NYSE's planned digital trading platform.
The company's IPO plans are not entirely new, as it had already submitted a draft registration statement with the SEC in May 2026. The details regarding the number of shares it plans to sell or the price range were not revealed at the time.
