Blockchains See 420% Surge in Malware Infrastructure Amid Crypto Onboarding
The malware infrastructure on public blockchains has seen significant growth in the past twelve months. According to Chainalysis, there was a surge of 420% in the use of public blockchains to store malware infrastructure over this period. This rise in malicious activity has been linked to actors from North Korea.
In another development, Ondo Finance has enabled two-way in-kind conversions between traditional shares custodied at Alpaca and Ondo Stocks tokens. The mechanism operates via internal book-entry transfers between these entities.
