Blockworks Cuts Crypto Risk Alerts to Lightning-Fast Five Seconds
Blockworks has introduced an AI-powered alert system that reduces risk alerts from eight to ten minutes to just five seconds. This new feature, called Agentic Detection, uses proprietary AI agents to analyze data from over 1,000 sources and identify potential risks in the crypto market.
The system covers more than 1,000 assets across 55 subcategories, including smart contract exploits, governance proposals, bridge pauses, and sudden changes in project activity. When an AI agent flags a risk, the alert is tagged as 'Agent-detected' until a human analyst verifies it, ensuring speed without sacrificing accuracy.
The Agentic Detection system is built on top of Blockworks' acquisition of Messari's data and research infrastructure, which was acquired for over $10 million in June. This move gives Blockworks an institutional-grade data layer at a relatively low cost, allowing the company to enhance its risk management capabilities.
