Bloomberg News has strengthened its cryptocurrency coverage by hiring Benjamin Weiss as a reporter to cover cryptocurrencies and prediction markets.

Weiss, previously a cryptocurrency reporter at Fortune, brings his expertise in this field to Bloomberg's cross-assets team. His background also includes working as a crypto fellow at Fortune, and he has written for Harper's magazine.

Weiss holds a bachelor's degree from Carleton College and a master's degree from New York University.
