Bloomberg Unveils Real-Time Stablecoin Data Platform
Bloomberg has launched a new stablecoin dashboard on its Terminal platform, offering institutional investors real-time data on hourly on-chain activity. The dashboard is powered by blockchain data provider Allium and covers over 98% of the stablecoin market, with a combined supply of over $300 billion.
The dashboard provides detailed information on the movement of supply and mints, burns, and transfers across various blockchains. Users can also break down activity by blockchain, allowing them to quickly switch between an asset-level and blockchain-level view.
Bloomberg's new product is part of its ongoing efforts to expand its crypto coverage. Since 2014, the firm has offered Bitcoin pricing on its Terminal platform, and now provides pricing, benchmarks, and identifiers for over 50 institutional-relevant cryptocurrencies.
The collaboration with Allium pushes Bloomberg's strategy further by adding blockchain-native transaction data to its Terminal environment, which is already used by banks, asset management companies, and institutional trading desks.
