Bloomberg Unveils Stablecoin Dashboard for Institutional Users
Bloomberg has launched a stablecoin dashboard on its Terminal platform, providing institutional users with hourly onchain data on stablecoin supply, mints, burns, transfers, and velocity. The new screen pulls data from Allium, a blockchain data platform for enterprises, and drops it into the same fixed income, foreign exchange, and money market tools Terminal subscribers already use.
The dashboard covers every stablecoin with more than $100 million in circulating supply, which accounts for over 98% of the $300+ billion market. Users can drill into individual stablecoins across blockchain networks, switch to a network-level view, or filter assets by peg type, including fiat currencies, commodities, and other stablecoins.
The launch extends Bloomberg's onchain offering, which has carried Bitcoin pricing on the Terminal since 2014. Matthew Parkinson, Bloomberg's global head of digital assets product, said stablecoins are becoming an increasingly important part of institutional digital asset markets, particularly as firms explore how cash and assets can move within tokenized financial infrastructure.
The dashboard arrives amid tightening regulator scrutiny, with the European Central Bank pushing to widen a stablecoin yield ban. It also builds on a recent Bloomberg collaboration with Kaiko to make its data available on the Canton Network.
