BMO Discloses Small XRP ETF Holdings Amid Massive Portfolio
Bank of Montreal (BMO) has disclosed its exposure to XRP-linked exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in its latest SEC 13F filing. The bank reported holding 323 shares of the REX-Osprey XRP ETF worth $2,771 and 20 shares of the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF worth $199, totaling a combined value of $2,970.
The positions were held through Stoker Ostler Wealth Advisors, a Bank of Montreal-controlled investment adviser. The filing covers holdings as of June 30, 2026, and was submitted to the SEC on August 12. This represents only a tiny fraction of Bank of Montreal's reported $303.65 billion portfolio.
A 13F filing does not reveal short positions or direct crypto holdings, nor does it show transactions made after the reporting date. As such, the extent of BMO's overall exposure to XRP may be higher than what is disclosed in this report.
