The appointment of Thomas Chen marks an important step in BNB Chain's efforts to attract institutional capital and revenue-generating activities onto its platform.
Chen brings 15 years of experience in traditional finance and digital assets to the role, having previously served as CEO of Function, a Bitcoin yield protocol that scaled to $1.6 billion in TVL, and Managing Director and Global Head of Sales at BitGo.
As Chief Business Officer, Chen will focus on revenue strategy, institutional partnerships, and long-term value accrual for the BNB Chain ecosystem.
