BNB Eyes Critical Resistance at $823 as Momentum Continues
BNB has been on a significant rebound since July's lows of $550, reaching an intraday peak near $800 before settling around $784. This impressive multi-month recovery has brought the cryptocurrency within striking distance of a critical resistance zone on its daily chart.
The token successfully breached the $686.99 threshold in late August, which had previously served as a ceiling for BNB on multiple occasions earlier this year. Following this breakthrough, BNB maintained its position above the former resistance zone and continued its upward trajectory throughout September.
However, the next significant hurdle lies around the $823.20 mark, which functioned as a floor during the latter months of 2025 before BNB experienced a sharp decline below it in February. A confirmed daily close above this level would eliminate one of the most prominent resistance zones visible on the chart.
Underlying network fundamentals continue to show activity, with the BNB Chain currently accounting for approximately $3.4 billion in real-world asset value and more than 3.4 million daily active users. Additionally, the recent Pasteur upgrade has enhanced block capacity, processing approximately 28% additional gas per block.
However, a regulatory development also surfaced on Tuesday, with U.S. federal prosecutors examining whether Binance implemented sufficient measures to block Iranian users from platform access, potentially breaching U.S. sanctions regulations.
