BNY Partners with Galaxy for Institutional Crypto Staking

Bank of New York Mellon (BNY) has partnered with Galaxy to offer institutional crypto staking through its digital asset custody platform. This integration will allow eligible clients to earn staking rewards without moving their assets out of custody.

The partnership enables institutions to stake supported proof-of-stake assets within BNY's custody framework, provided by Galaxy as a design partner and infrastructure provider.

BNY has been expanding its digital asset strategy, including regulated custody for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH). This new offering aims to simplify operations by combining custody, staking, reporting, and tax services into one platform.
