Brandt Reaffirms $100k Bitcoin Target Amid Institutional Driven Surge
Peter Brandt has reaffirmed his prediction that Bitcoin will reach $100,000. In June 2019, he first shared a logarithmic chart projecting this price target when Bitcoin was trading near $10,000.
Brandt's chart reflects the parabolic growth of Bitcoin, which has outperformed traditional assets like Apple and Amazon in terms of cyclical magnitude. The model shows that Bitcoin's cycles have demonstrated exponential growth: returns of 20x, 489x, 42x, and 93x.
The current surge in Bitcoin is attributed to institutional investment, a stark contrast to the retail speculation seen in 2019. Analysts caution that as market capitalization increases, the probability of repeating previous cycle returns decreases due to the law of diminishing returns.
Despite this, Brandt's model remains a significant reference for traders and institutions, underscoring Bitcoin's potential for continued outperformance.
