Brandt Sees $2.16 XRP Target But Prefers Monero Solana Ether
Veteran trader Peter Brandt has set a new price target for XRP at $2.16. He shared a weekly XRP chart showing the token at approximately $1.51 and identified a cup and handle pattern. If this pattern completes, Brandt projects a gain of about 43% to reach $2.16. However, he cautioned that chart projections are not guaranteed and often change.
Brandt highlighted a significant challenge for XRP: overhead supply. Many holders bought the token between $2 and $3.70 during the 2025 rally and may sell as the price rises back to those levels. He described this as a major negative for XRP.
Brandt made it clear that he focuses solely on price action, disregarding the fundamentals of XRP or any other coin except Bitcoin (BTC). He compared XRP with Monero (XMR), Solana (SOL), Ether (ETH), and Stellar (XLM), favoring Monero due to its absorbed overhead supply.
Among the tokens he analyzed, Brandt found Monero's chart the most favorable, followed by Solana and Ether. He noted that Stellar also has overhead supply but not as severe as XRP's.
