Brandt Sees Bitcoin Reaching $600K by 2029 Amid Bull Market Cycle
Veteran trader Peter Brandt has updated his Bitcoin price forecast to as high as $600,000 by 2029. Speaking in a recent Cointelegraph podcast, he said that while he still sees room for a pullback toward $65,000 or $66,000 in early October, the current market suggests the low point may have already been reached.
Brandt's forecast assumes a new bull market cycle is underway and that Bitcoin's historical patterns hold. He believes gains will accelerate toward the end of the cycle, with the final three to four months potentially delivering about 30% of the total increase.
The trader also expressed skepticism about XRP's investment appeal, comparing its potential for transactional usefulness to the value of the US dollar. Brandt warned that investors should not chase new tokens or be swayed by flashy narratives, and suggested a crypto allocation of up to 10% for financially secure investors.
