Brandt Sees Potential in XRP Despite Criticism of 'Cult' Following
Peter Brandt, a well-known financial and crypto news writer, has expressed interest in XRP's potential despite criticizing its 'cult' following. In a recent tweet, he mentioned that his charts give him reason to consider a bet on the token.
XRP community member Vincent Van Code also made a viral prediction of $100 or more over three years, citing the histories of Bitcoin and Ethereum as examples where confidence in an asset can change dramatically over time.
Brandt's own target for XRP is much lower at $5.40, which he believes will be achieved through historical breakouts similar to those seen in earlier periods. He emphasized that it's not necessary to be a 'certified cult member' to take an interest in XRP and that his views are based on the charts alone.
The differences between Brandt's and Van Code's predictions are significant, with Van Code's $100 target implying a market capitalization of roughly $6.3 trillion at today's supply.
