Brandt Slams XRP: 'Who Even Cares About It?'

Veteran trader Peter Brandt has expressed his lack of interest in owning XRP, the cryptocurrency linked to Ripple. In response to a challenge on social media, he stated that he would convert any large XRP position into Bitcoin immediately.

'Who the heck even cares about XRP?' Brandt wrote, adding that he does not concern himself with owning a significant amount of XRP and instead focuses on futures trading.

XRP is currently struggling to hold above $1, having recently traded around $0.9992. It remains 72.6% below its all-time high of $3.65 reached in July 2025.

Brandt has a history of criticizing XRP and the XRP community, describing them as 'addicts' and calling Ripple's relationship with XRP similar to the Federal Reserve's relationship with the US dollar.
