Brandt vs Aljarrah: Price Target Sparks 'Fool Coin' Debate

Peter Brandt, a veteran trader with over 40 years of experience, has dismissed XRP as a 'fool coin' while predicting a $5.40 price target. However, Versan Aljarrah, founder of Black Swan Capitalist, disagrees with this assessment.

In an interview, Brandt questioned whether XRP's use in payments gives it investment value. He argued that a transactional use case does not automatically make XRP worth more, comparing it to the US dollar.

Aljarrah countered that a price target is just a trade and doesn't reflect the asset's underlying value. He pointed out that XRP has made significant progress in recent years, including legal clarity from a US court ruling, institutional build-out with acquisitions and new products, and regulated investment products tied to XRP.
