Brazil Funds Live Orchestra Converting Bitcoin Price Into Music
A live orchestra in Brazil has been approved to raise up to $197,000 for a performance that converts Bitcoin price movements into music. The project secured authorization through Brazil's Rouanet Law, which provides tax-deductible funding for cultural programs.
The performance will take place in Brasília, the federal capital of Brazil. An algorithm will track Bitcoin price movements and technical data in real-time during the concert, guiding melody, rhythm, and harmony as the orchestra performs.
Private companies and individual donors can contribute to the project, with fundraising required to close by December 31. The initiative combines traditional orchestral instruments with data-driven music generation, drawing on concepts from art, mathematics, economics, and physics.
