Brazil Tightens Crypto Regulations with New Data Disclosure Rules
Crypto firms operating in Brazil will have to submit detailed information and data to regulators from November 6, according to Banco Central do Brasil.
The new amendments to BCB Resolution No 520 require virtual asset service providers to submit information on accounting balances maintained by the institution in favor of its users.
This move aims to strengthen regulatory oversight over the crypto industry in Brazil.
