Brazilian Company OranjeBTC Expands Bitcoin Holdings to 3,918
OranjeBTC, a Brazilian company and one of Latin America's largest public corporate Bitcoin holders, has expanded its treasury by adding 6 BTC to its balance sheet. This brings OranjeBTC's total holdings to 3,918 BTC, valued at over $250 million at current prices.
The company went public in 2025 with approximately 3,650 BTC already on its books and has since been incrementally increasing its stash. Between June and July of last year, it purchased 74 BTC and 8 BTC respectively.
OranjeBTC's average acquisition cost basis is above $100K per BTC, indicating that the company sees current price levels as reasonable entry points for buying Bitcoin. This approach mirrors the strategy employed by Michael Saylor but applies to a market where holding Bitcoin serves as a hedging strategy against local currency weakness.
