Bridging to StableChain: Two Routes to USDT0

StableChain is a unique Layer 1 blockchain where gas is paid in USDT0, eliminating the need for native gas tokens. To bridge funds onto StableChain, users can take one of two routes: the fastest general-purpose path through Relay or the canonical family of paths through the USDT0 mesh.

Relay is an intent-based bridge that connects wallets to the destination network in seconds, with fees baked into the quote. The process involves connecting a wallet, choosing the source chain and asset, setting the destination asset to USDT0 on Stable, entering the amount, approving and confirming the transaction, and verifying the arrival of USDT0 on Stable.

The canonical routes run through the USDT0 system's own plumbing, allowing users to transfer funds directly from any chain where USDT0 is deployed. This process involves burning USDT0 on the source chain, verified message, and minting on Stable.

Before bridging, users must ensure they meet three prerequisites: a self-custody wallet that supports custom EVM networks, funds on a supported source chain with gas for the deposit transaction, and access to the correct bridge interface.
