Bringin Beta Lets Euro Businesses Hold and Pay in Bitcoin
Bringin has launched an invite-only beta for euro business accounts, allowing companies to hold, accept, and pay in Bitcoin and stablecoins. The service provides a dedicated virtual IBAN for SEPA payments, enabling businesses to operate under their own company name. The platform builds on Bringin's consumer offering, which has already processed over €15 million. Currently in pilot with 15 businesses, the service supports cross-border payments and instant conversions between Bitcoin and euros.
The service is built on MiCA-authorized infrastructure from Lightspark Payments Europe AS and is available across 30 European countries. Companies can manage their Bitcoin treasury, accept payments in Bitcoin, Lightning, or stablecoins, and pay suppliers or employees in Bitcoin. The platform integrates Euro accounts and Bitcoin wallets in one place, with security features like hardware security modules and designated access controls.
Bringin plans to introduce APIs and MCP servers to enable interactions with artificial intelligence agents. The founder and CEO, Prashanth Chandrashekar, emphasizes Bitcoin's role as the first internet-native money and highlights Lightning's speed for everyday commerce. He believes Bringin demonstrates the potential for businesses to use Bitcoin for seamless global payments and self-custody.
Despite the advantages of Bitcoin and stablecoins, European businesses face challenges such as account freezes, transfer restrictions, and regulatory hurdles. Bringin aims to address these issues by providing a unified platform that reduces friction and simplifies compliance.
