Bruce Fenton sees AI agents boosting digital asset trading
Bruce Fenton, a prominent figure in digital finance, suggests that artificial intelligence (AI) agents could soon play a major role in the trading and transfer of equity stock tokens, stablecoins, bonds, and Bitcoin. He believes this integration of AI and cryptocurrencies could transform how assets are managed and exchanged, making digital asset markets more dynamic.
Fenton has previously raised concerns about market practices, particularly highlighting Robinhood’s decision in January 2021 to restrict the buying of AMC and GME shares. At the time, users were only allowed to sell positions on the platform, sparking debates about trading limitations and asset representation in digital finance.
He has also clarified that tokens issued for Robinhood stock are tied to actual shares, addressing questions about the legitimacy of such digital representations. These earlier comments reflect ongoing discussions about the mechanisms and transparency of trading in digital asset markets.
