Brydge, Monirates Streamline Cross-Border Payments with Zero-Fee Stablecoin Wallets
African businesses are often plagued by complex and costly cross-border payment systems. To address this issue, Brydge and Monirates have partnered to offer zero-fee stablecoin wallets within Brydge's merchant operating system.
The partnership aims to simplify cross-border payments for African merchants while reducing costs associated with stablecoin transactions. By integrating Monirates' infrastructure, businesses can create unlimited wallets without setup fees or monthly caps, eliminating deposit charges and wallet maintenance fees across five blockchain networks: Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Tron, and Solana.
The partnership also covers gas fees associated with transactions, while merchants incur a capped withdrawal fee. For frequent payment processors, this integration could make stablecoins more practical as a cross-border settlement tool.
