BSC Launchpads Evolve into Tokenized Stock Infrastructure
The Binance Smart Chain (BSC) has witnessed an evolution of launchpads, transforming from 'token-launching casinos' to 'tokenized stock infrastructure'. The story began with Flap, which ignited the wave by allowing Meme tokens to use Binance's bStocks as liquidity pools. This modification enables holders of Meme tokens to receive proportional on-chain stock tokens in addition to holding the Meme itself.
MarsCoin, paired with tokenized SpaceX stock SPCXB, saw its market cap briefly hit $260 million after Binance listed spot trading pairs for it. Flap has generated cumulative fees of approximately $29.85 million, with nearly $14.23 million in fees over the past 30 days.
Four.meme followed a similar model but was a step behind during this wave. It launched the 4Stock model and issued its first stock token, BNC4, which tracks the US stock CEA Industries (NASDAQ: BNC). Four.meme's logic differs from Flap, as it creates an on-chain token for stocks that don't yet have bStocks.
Genius.fun has pushed ambition to a new scale. Its model operates in three steps: creating a Meme token paired with a tokenized stock, using trading fees to accumulate underlying stocks, and 'unwrapping' the tokenized stocks into real shares for shareholder rights. The community behind $GSTOCK has become the leading token of this first wave.
The emergence of Genius.fun has raised the narrative ceiling of this ecosystem by another tier. If a community truly initiates a hostile takeover of a publicly listed company, the viral potential of this story will far exceed the price action of any single Meme token.
