BTC and ETH ETFs Flood with $1.3 Billion in Fresh Capital
Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs have seen significant inflows in recent days. On Monday, September 21, US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recorded their largest single-day haul since October 2025, with $998.95 million and $269.98 million, respectively.
The influx of funds has pushed the price of Bitcoin to its highest mark since January 2026, reaching nearly $87,000 on Monday. Analysts attribute this resurgence to a combination of factors, including softer oil prices, easing Treasury yields, and a scheduled meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the daily inflows with $381.4 million, followed by ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) with $289.1 million, and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) at $238.8 million.
CryptoQuant's Julio Moreno stated that Bitcoin had pushed above its 365-day moving average, which he called the last confirmation needed for a new bull market. However, analysts are cautious, noting that the durability of this move now hinges on sustained spot ETF inflows and whether BTC holds above $85,000 and ETH above $2,700.
